Overweight Container Division

Expedite Truck Lines is located in the Overweight Corridor of the Los Angeles / Long Beach Harbor. This allows us to legally transport overweight 20' and 40' containers between our warehouse/transload facility and the local berths. From here, we can perform direct transloads from import containers or consolidate material into export containers.

The result can be a lower net cost of importing or exporting containers by taking advantage of the Overweight Corridor and utilizing more of the containers weight or volume capacity.

Expedite Truck Lines owns and operates specialized equipment approved by the DOT for trucking of overweight ocean containers legally and safely.

4-axle tractor together with our 3-axle heavy duty chassis allows you to transport up to 53,000 pounds in a 40' container to and from our facility.

Our special 3-axle chassis have a sliding wheelbase adjustment (shown in extended position above). You can transport up to 45,000 pounds in a 20' container from the harbor directly to the importer / exporter.
